Yes, if the existing electrical box is standard (15–20cm), an electrician can remove the old fixture and hardwire this one to the same box.

Will this work with a dimmer switch?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable. Use a standard on/off switch only.

Use a soft brush or dry cloth to gently dust the folds. Do not wash or expose to moisture.
